Longing for Home!
It has been a joy to be home & share with countless believers the things God is doing in Ethiopia! I have had the opportunity to be in the United States since March when I flew home to take an official missionary appointment with the Assemblies of God World Missions Organization. Since that time I have been raising a budget so I could return to Africa. In addition to sharing at churches I was invited on the Dying Out Loud Tour with Ann Steward & our district leadership. It was a great time to see God calling others into the ministry & overseas missions. And my personal testimony is that God supplied every last penny I needed! The famous old saying of Hudson Taylor, a great missionary is true. God supplies all we need to do His work!
Many of you know the burden a missionary feels to carry the gospel to places it has never gone. I’m excited to get back & share with those unreached people groups. While I’ve been in the United States I have received reports that the work is continuing with our young disciples. Two of my good friends in the Kara Tribe, Lowren & Lalay, continue to share the gospel with their tribe in many villages. Below is a picture they sent.

My fellow brother in ministry Abraham has been busy as well with follow up & encouraging our new believing friends. He sent me pictures of his travels into the Maale Tribe & the young believers we help to mentor. As some of you might remember in February we just had a witch doctor turn to Christ in this same tribe!

You really are my teammates! As many of you have heard me say I cannot be both a Biomedical Engineer & a full-time Missionary. How would I ever get there without you? It’s simple I wouldn’t! As many of you read this I am packing my bags to head back to Ethiopia. Thank you for your continued prayers & support as I venture out again! I have been asking God to supply a vehicle dedicated to our mission in Southern Ethiopia & Lord willing it will happen this year!
